Ok, we just bought a new home. The previous owners replaced the water heater and yet there is still for a strong smell of sulfur. What can I do to fix the smell? Is there a filter or something I need to make the boiler or what?

Are you connected to a water well?
If not, you might want to contact the City Water Department and have them come check it out.
Otherwise, yes you can get various filters for your water system.

Week One-Chem Club experiment. BZ reaction; An oscillatory oxidation-reduction reaction. Steps: 1) Release 9.5 g of potassium bromate in 250 ml of distilled water to 0.23 M potassium bromate 2 make dissolve) and 1.75g โโof potassium bromide 8g malonic acid in 250 ml of distilled water. 3) Loosen 2.65g ceric ammonium nitrate in 250 ml of 2.7M sulfuric acid. 4) To 2.7M sulfuric acid, pouring 75 ml of 18M sulfuric acid in 250 ml of distilled water. Then add more distilled water to reach 500ml. 5) To a 0.50% Ferroin; 0.115g melanterite dissolved in 50 mL of distilled water. Then add 0.23 g of 1,10-phenanthroline. Hopefully this makes sense:)

Diethyl ether is produced by catalytic dehydration of ethyl alcohol. Sulfuric acid is used as catalyst in the acid-base reaction. Sulfuric acid forms the ester ethyl bisulphate and generates water. The alcohol in the reaction remains bound Bath and very little ether is produced. When excess EtOH to the reaction Bath is added at 140C, ether formed, and the regenerated sulfuric acid. Water is produced in the reaction of the ether distilled. The reaction mixture turns black due to oxidation / reduction of side reactions. The reaction bath consists of: 20g of clean sand, 180 ml EtOH and 160 ml of 96.4% H2S04. An additional 750 ml of ethyl alcohol is added slowly via an addition funnel. The reaction is at 135 Bath Kept – 145C, while still head temp is 55-85C. The second distillation with a water bath due to the extreme flammability of ether, an auto ignition temp of 170C has done. Below the water will get 60C. Comes Over the ether left a remarkably stable 35C the excess water in the calcium chloride Behind ~ 200g.

No. of mole of MgO = 29.3/24 + 16
= 0.7325 mol
2 mol of Mg produce 2 mol of MgO
0.7325 = Mass of magnesium/24
Mass of magnesium = 17.58 g
1 mol of O2 produce 2 mol of MgO
Thus, the number of mole O2 = 0.7325/2
= 0.36625
0.36625 = Mass of O2/16(2)
= Mass of O2/32
Mass of O2 = 11.72 g
