cadmium chalcogenides the appropriate bandgap energy have attracted much attention because of their potential applications in optoelectronic devices. CdS thin films as prepared at different substrate temperatures using a simple chemical pyrolysis technique, low cost of spraying. The deposited thin films were characterized by XRD, SEM, EDAX and techniques for measuring the electrical resistivity. Models of X-ray diffraction shows that films are polycrystalline hexagonal crystal structure, whatever the temperature of the substrate. SEM studies reveal that the grains are uniform spherical shape with uneven distribution over the entire surface of the substrate. Analysis of the composition. . . Br>
